Tina's Story
I had laparoscopic RNY surgery performed at LGMC. Since then I am at my goal weight, 105 pounds lighter, and no longer have sleep apnea and high blood pressure. I am mindful that gastric bypass surgery is only a tool to assist me with continued lifestyle changes. The bariatric team and the monthly support group provide education and encouragement for me to continue this journey. For now, my knee surgery is on hold. I am truly able to enjoy life's great gifts.
